Frequently Asked Questions

While we recommend placing your order at least one month in advance to ensure easy delivery and care for your flowers—our team is occasionally able to accept orders as late as 5 days after your wedding/event (orders placed that late should call us at (801)404-8427 to confirm before shipping flowers).

In all cases, the sooner the better! Depending on condition and how they’ve been cared for, we usually accept flowers no more than 5 days following your wedding/event.

The Petal Press is proud to accept orders all over the USA! After placing your order online, detailed shipping instructions will be included in your confirmation email. Shipping flowers to us is your responsibility, and you may use the carrier of your choice. We are located in Gilbert, AZ. Shipping estimates can be found on most major carrier websites.

Drop off location is in Gilbert, AZ. After placing your order online, your confirmation email will include a link to schedule a drop off time. I recommend having a trusted friend or family member drop them off. Go enjoy your honeymoon stress-free, and the flowers get to me quickly! An appointment slot must be reserved prior to dropping off the flowers. If you are late I cannot guarantee there will be anyone to accept the delivery. If you miss your appointment, you will need to reschedule through the link.

Depending on flower thickness, the drying process can take up to 8 weeks. Once dried, our design team will craft a beautiful arrangement tailored specifically to your flowers and frame. This includes securing your blooms to the glass, and sealing the frame. From drop off to delivery is typically 3-4 months.

In order to press and frame your flowers, they must be fresh! Dried flowers will crumble in the press instead of flattening. We are planning on adding an option to have your flowers professionally dried and preserved in a shadow box. For now, shadow boxes are only available by special request.

Our flowers are preserved 100% naturally, meaning we do not use any dyes or preservatives on your special blooms. Depending on the type of flower and moisture content, colors will change during the preservation process. While we do use UV glass in our framing process to protect against light and sun damage, your flowers will continue to fade over their lifetime. Our meticulous framing process ensures that regardless of fading, you will be able to enjoy your beautiful flowers for a lifetime.
