Information collected automatically
We collect certain information about how you use the Services ("Usage Data") using cookies, pixels and similar technologies ("Cookies"). This may include your device and browser, your IP address, the pages you visit, the links you click, and how you arrived at the Site.
Information we receive from others
We also receive information from the companies that help us run the Services, described in the next section. We are not responsible for the accuracy of information third parties provide to us, or for their own privacy practices.
The companies that help us run the Services
The Site runs on WordPress and WooCommerce and is hosted by SiteGround. We use a small number of service providers, and personal information is shared with them only so they can do the job we have asked them to do:
- Payments. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We also offer Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna for paying over time. Your full card number is handled by the payment provider and is never stored on our systems.
- Shipping. Carriers and our label provider receive the name and address needed to deliver your frame.
- Email and order messaging. Our email platform sends order confirmations, design approvals, and, if you have asked for them, marketing emails.
- Appointments and inquiries. Our customer platform hosts the drop-off and pick-up booking calendars and holds inquiries so we can route and answer them.
- Analytics. Google Analytics tells us, in aggregate, which pages are visited and which links are clicked. Microsoft Clarity shows us how visitors move through a page, such as where they click and how far they scroll, so we can fix what gets in the way. It hides what you type into forms.
- Advertising. Google, Meta, and Pinterest advertising tools help us measure our advertising and show ads to people likely to be interested in preservation.
- Site operations. Security, backup, performance and maintenance providers who keep the Site running.
How we use your personal information
- Providing the service. To take and fulfill your order, process payment, arrange drop-off, pick-up or shipping, send you your design for approval, keep you updated, and answer your questions.
- Marketing and advertising. To send marketing and promotional messages by email, text message or post where you have agreed to receive them, and to show and measure advertising. You can opt out at any time.
- Security and fraud prevention. To detect, investigate and act on fraudulent, illegal or malicious activity. If you create an account, keep your password to yourself, and tell us immediately if you think it has been compromised.
- Improving the Services. To understand how the Site is used and make it work better.
- Legal obligations. To comply with the law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
Cookies and your choices
Like most websites, we use Cookies. We use them to make the Site work, including keeping items in your cart and completing checkout, to remember choices you have made, to run analytics, and to measure and deliver advertising.
This Site does not show a cookie banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a setting that blocks third-party cookies specifically, which stops most advertising tracking while leaving the Site working. Blocking everything will stop parts of the Site working, including the cart and checkout. Google, Meta and Pinterest each provide their own advertising controls, and you can also ask us directly using the contact details below. Our Cookie Policy sets all of this out in full.
How we disclose personal information
We disclose personal information in these circumstances:
- To the service providers listed above, who act on our behalf.
- To advertising and analytics partners, in the ways described above and subject to your cookie choices.
- When you ask us to, or direct us to, such as sharing your address with a carrier.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a sale or merger of the business.
- To comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect our rights and the rights of others.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising cookies may count as sharing or selling under certain state privacy laws, If you would rather we did not handle your information that way, tell us using the contact details below and we will not.
Over the past 12 months we have disclosed the following categories of personal information for the purposes set out above:

The Services let you post reviews and other content. Anything you post in a public area of the Site is public and can be read by anyone. We cannot control who sees it or what they do with it, so please think before you post.
Other websites we link to
The Site links to websites run by other people, including our social media profiles and our scheduling and payment providers. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices. Please read their policies before you give them information.

Keeping your information secure, and how long we keep it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, but no security measure is perfect and information sent to us over the internet may not be secure in transit. Please do not use an unsecured channel to send us anything sensitive or confidential.
How long we keep your information depends on why we hold it: whether we need it to complete and support your order, to run your account, to meet a legal or tax obligation, or to resolve a dispute.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. These rights are not absolute, may apply only in some circumstances, and in some cases we may decline a request where the law allows it.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to confirm your identity first, usually with the email address you ordered from. You can name an authorized agent to act for you, and we will ask for proof that you have authorized them.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, contact us using the details below and we will look into it. If you are still not satisfied, depending on where you live you may be able to complain to your local data protection authority.

We operate in the United States, and we sell and ship within the United States only. Your personal information is stored and processed in the United States by us and by the service providers listed above. If you visit the Site from another country, your information is transferred to the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
